Patrice Cowan Bevans

Last week I had the great pleasure to work with Patrice Cowan Bevans, Krista Coupar and her team photographing one of her interiors in Pacific Heights.  It was a small apartment owned by an older couple.  I imagined a conservative but tasteful decor, but was pleasantly surprised when the place was decked out with modern furniture and beautiful colors.  I didn't see the apartment before then, but it was described to me as "a box".  

The couple wanted to use the furniture and things that they collected over the years.  Patrice utilized every inch of space (note the rolling door wall that covers the office/bar in the living room) without making the place feel crowded.  She added beautiful colors to the walls and evening ceilings (note the yellow ceiling in the kitchen).
