Food + Wine + Love = Melissa & David

I would like to thank all of the planners who helped make my wedding season in 2010 fun, effortless and full of eye candy!!!!!

Napa Valley , July of 2010…..I had the great pleasure to work with Megan Peters for the first time.  Megan is the talent behind La Vita Bella.  Her smile and grace brought ease and comfort to our bride and groom…..thank you Megan!

Bride and Groom:  Melissa and David, you are such an amazing couple.  Melissa is sweet and so…what is the word….precious!  David – you are her guardian angel.  David towers Melissa by a couple of feet.  When she looks up at him, her smile closes the gap between.  David is a Chef in New York City.  Their wedding was located in the heart of Napa, surrounded by amazing food and great wine. 

Next to the homemade chocolate chip cookies were the guest favors - a handful of printed favorite recipes of David’s, tied to a kitchen towel.   And I’d like to thank Melissa and David for sitting us with the rest of their guests (and at THEIR table) and inviting us to be a part of your delicious wedding dinner celebration!

The weekend kicked off at Brix Restaurant in Napa….in the garden with some of the most AMAZING passed hors d’oeuvres I’ve ever had!  On the morning of the wedding, the bridal party prepared in my new favorite Hotel & Spa - Bardessono in St Helena.

July was a hot day in Napa – but the Mission where they were married was nice and cool:  Holy Family Mission Church in Rutherford.  The reception was timed perfectly – late afternoon, nice and cool, in the garden of one of my favorite restaurants – Tra Vigne in St Helena!

Congratulations David and Melissa – I wish you a lifetime of happiness, fine wine and mouth-watering food!!!
