The "entire" Kawaja Family

Every year since photographing Andrew and Dokelida wedding, I've been invited to take the Kawaja Family photos for their holiday cards. The Kawaja's have a HUGE family—not only are there four sets of brothers and their wives, but there are so many children. We take a big group photo, individual family photos, grandkid photos, and then photos of the grandkids with the grandparents! It's an honor to walk through Hazel and Michael's home (the grandparents of the Kawaja Fam) and see all my beautifully framed photos sitting on their shelves and hanging on their walls. Thank you Kawajas for the amazing opportunity!!!

Hecksher Family Portrait

Family - Truly the most important thing to me in this world!  Marie Hecksher asked me to photograph her family just before her birthday party at the Legion of Honor.  All of her brothers and sisters were there, surrounding her 87-year old mother.  

If you knew me as a young child, you would know that my favorite past-time was visiting the elderly folks in my neighborhood.  I love love love the older generation!  I am humbled by their experiences.
